The 2026 season for ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing has officially begun, and the positive feelings from winter testing have immediately translated into incredible results. In fact, in its first ever Superpole, the 820RR immediately secured the front row of the grid, thanks to Valentin Debise's third place finish. Federico Caricasulo was further back and will start Race 1 from 18th place.

In the morning, Debise and Caricasulo took to the track for the only free practice session available: despite the red flag displayed in the early minutes due to a technical problem experienced by Konig, Valentin completed 19 laps and took 6th position, while Federico finished the session 11th with 18 laps.

In the afternoon, it was time for Superpole, the first for ZXMOTO in WorldSSP. Debise immediately capitalised on the potential of his package, taking 3rd position and earning a place on the front row. Caricasulo had a few more problems, but was still only three tenths of a second off the top ten.

With the day's practice ending on a high note, tomorrow will be the moment of the historic first Supersport race for the Evan Bros and ZXMOTO duo. The Warm Up will take place at 0.30 (CET), while at 4.30 (CET) the lights will go out for Race 1, which will run for 18 laps.
Valentin Debise
"I felt I had the potential to aim high already in this round, and even though I've never really been brilliant in qualifying, things went really well. Before coming here to Australia, we only had tests on one track behind us, with a completely new bike, but seeing how fast we were today is incredible. I am very happy and I thank the team for their wonderful work. Tomorrow we will try to continue on this path”.
Federico Caricasulo
“It was a bit of a complicated day for me: we started well this morning, sorting out a few things, but in the afternoon the rising temperatures limited me, so I'll have to start a little further back on the grid. I'm still happy with the team's work, and Valentin's front row is a great result for everyone: the bike has great potential, which I hope to exploit soon to recover”.
